Kansas City Athletics (UMKC) Partners with Playfly Sports on Sponsorship and Ticketing

NEW YORK, NY/KANSAS CITY, MO (June 16, 2026) Kansas City Athletics officially announced a four-year partnership with Playfly Sports, the sports industry’s leading revenue maximization firm. Within the terms of the partnership, Playfly will assist the Roos with ticketing and sponsorship sales across their entire portfolio of NCAA Division 1 sport offerings. 


As part of the agreement, an on-campus staff of two will manage ticket and sponsorship sales and fulfillment. Playfly will also provide a comprehensive pricing study on ticket pricing and sponsorship opportunities, including men’s basketball as the Roos return to the historic Municipal Auditorium in the heart of downtown Kansas City for home games.
