Four-year agreement with Troy Bank & Trust spans all 16 Troy Athletics programs and coaches’ in-game apparel
NEW YORK, NY / TROY, AL (August 27, 2026) — Playfly Sports, the sports industry’s leading revenue maximization company, today announced a landmark jersey patch partnership between Troy University Athletics and Troy Bank & Trust. Brokered by Troy Sports Properties, a division of Playfly Sports, the four-year agreement represents a first-of-its-kind partnership at the Group of Six level.
Beginning with the 2026-27 athletic season, Troy Bank & Trust will become the official jersey patch sponsor across all 16 Troy Athletics programs, with its logo also appearing on coaches’ in-game apparel. The agreement includes an option for a fifth year and expands an established relationship between Troy Athletics and Troy Bank & Trust.
The partnership represents the latest example of Playfly working alongside its collegiate partners to develop new, high-value commercial inventory as athletic departments seek sustainable sources of revenue in the evolving college sports landscape.
“Every time our student-athletes compete, the Troy Bank & Trust name will be represented alongside the Troy name,” said Kyle George, Troy Athletics Director. “We are excited to have a partner like Troy Bank & Trust alongside us as we continue to elevate the Troy brand on a regional and national stage.”
“Jersey patches represent an exciting new opportunity in college athletics, but the real value comes from pairing that inventory with the right partner,” said Christy Hedgpeth, President of Playfly Sports Properties. “Our data and market insights help us understand what matters to each fan base and identify brands that have an authentic connection to the community. Troy Bank & Trust is exactly that kind of partner, and this first-of-its-kind agreement among the Group of Six is another example of how Playfly is creating innovative new revenue opportunities that make sense for our partners, their fans and their markets.”
Troy Bank & Trust will maintain additional visibility throughout Troy Athletics, including branding on the right-field wall at Riddle-Pace Field, press conference backdrops and digital signage.
The agreement builds on Playfly’s growing work around jersey patch inventory in college athletics. Earlier this year, Playfly facilitated the first collegiate jersey patch sponsorship agreement between LSU Athletics and Woodside Energy, with Woodside’s logo appearing across all 21 LSU varsity competition uniforms beginning in the 2026-27 athletic season.
