BERWYN, PA (May 15, 2024) – Playfly Sports, the Fan Focused and Data Driven leader in sports media, marketing and technology, has expanded its executive leadership team with the hiring of Nick Cartan as its Senior Vice President and Head of Commercial Strategy within Playfly Global Partnerships. Based out of Southern California, Cartan joins the Playfly team after serving as Chief Commercial Officer for Thrill One Sports & Entertainment, a next-generation content company that lives at the nexus of sports, entertainment, and lifestyle. In prior stops, he made impactful executive management roles with the World Surf League and Fox Sports. "As we look to understand, exploit and measure and monetize fandom better than anyone, we wanted a new enterprise-level person touching everything we do commercially, and Nick is that person," said Sloan. "As one example, we can now have our [data] insights teams better linked with our ideation and creativity for activation.
